Moon Pads

I tried the Diva Cup out not too long ago. I have been a tampon wearer for years and the Diva seemed to be a good option but I found that I was always wondering what was going on down there. So I decided to find another option. After doing some homework I found the moon pad.

Sustainable, made from organic cotton, super absorbent, and very inexpensive. I bought them here on Etsy. I haven't worn a pad since I was a kid and didn't know how I was going to like it so I originally only purchased 3 just to see if I liked them. I did, so the next month I bought 3 more. This month I exclusively used my Moon Pads and I love them.

There is nothing to throw away, I soak them in water after use and then use that water to water my plants. Now my plants are super happy. I throw them in the washer and then I am ready for next month. The cost for 6 pads was $40 that's less than I would have spent in an entire year for tampons and I won't buy them ever again so the savings is amazing. When my daughter starts her cycle I will get these for her also.

The trash in my bathroom is almost non-existent now. At this point I can maybe get rid of the trash can in there. :)
